Cape Cod National

While operating as a very private, exclusive club, it is actually one of the more accessible courses to the public.

A glimpse behind the gates…

CCN is a club characterized by several contradictions:

The course is impeccably manicured tee to green, yet unlike many high-end private clubs, CCN doesn’t overdo the manicuring.  Rather, it impressively highlights Cape Cod’s finest natural attributes, like pure fescue, lots of sand, and strategically placed marshlands…

While operating as a very private, exclusive club, it is actually one of the more accessible courses to the public through the Wequassett resort stay and play loophole.

Certainly, CCN and Eastward Ho! share a number of members and prospective members and the clear view of Eastward Ho! across Pleasant Bay provides a regular reminder to those still on the waiting list. (There’s even a sculpture with a telescope constantly keeping watch!)

CCN is everything you might want from a golf club – interesting variety of holes, quick and undulating greens, and a 19thhole where you may run into the political and business elite.

An old school caddie-culture is certainly present at the course, but it should be known that CCN is one of the most dedicated Ouimet Scholarship program sponsors around.
